Sunflower ruby ring with platinum twig shank and Welsh gold leaves

This Sunflower engagement ring was inspired by the couple's love of nature and their favourite flower. They wanted the central stone to be a ruby for her birthstone. As the client is quite active, hands on with lots of organisations and has a young family we decided that a fully opened sunflower would be impractical. I therefore designed the ring with a sunflower just opening, set onto a platinum twig textured shank and with gold and diamond set leaves. The petals and leaves contain real Welsh gold to reflect the Fiance's Welsh roots. Engagement rings can be really personal to you, telling your story and reflecting your lifestyle.
