I draw my inspiration and ideas from shapes, patterns, forms and textures found in the natural world; an interest in the engineered precision of assembling layers, structures and volumes and also during local countryside walks with Barney the dog, which gives me the time and freedom to let my imagination run wild. Using sketches, drawings, photos and computer layouts I develop these ideas further in my studio workshop to design and make decorative engraved glass table lights, gifts, sculptures, wall panels and signs which also incorporate wood, slate, metals and LED lighting to produce a range of glass work designed for the house, home, garden or business.
