Recycled gold and silver drop stud

When silver melts it forms into a ball. This is how I formed these earrings, I hammered 4 of the balls to form the flat discs. The centre has 24-carat gold fused onto it and is oxidised to highlight the gold. These earrings may be slightly different to the photo because of the way that they are made. Stud earrings measure 18mm drop.
