Star limpet shell stud earrings

These simple stud earrings were cast from a small star limpet (also known as the broad ribbed limpet) we found it on a local beach. Normally this animal lives in the seas off Africa and Asia but it's shell probably found its way to the North of England in ship's balast. Available in sterling silver or 18k yellow gold plated silver. (We plate our silver with 2 microns of gold). The earrings are fastened with 11mm ear wires and scroll backs. Approx weight: 3.4g.
