In July 2023, Dorienne won 1st Place in the Light Space and Time competition for her "Go Grandma" sculpture. Also winning other awards in competitions ie:Teravarna and Art Show International Gallery Featuring an elderly lady on a metal bicycle with wild-wire hair, conveying the message that age is no barrier to fun. The sculpture is made of stoneware ceramic and coiled wire and is set on a ceramic base with metal grass, mixed media flowers, grit, and stones. It measures 20 x 10 x 14 inches and weighs 11.023 lbs.
