This hand painted stretched canvas was made as a gift for the artist’s wife when she was pregnant with their first child. Tim composed together images of flowers in bloom from their garden of the house where they both lived and painted this in a style reminiscent of Georgia O’Keeffe. Tim’s bush worked petals are highly feminine, subtle and delicate. Tim paints a freshly blossoming Phalaenopsis Orchid making a visual comparison to the natural easing of a new Mothers’ breast milk and hides suggestive forms within his composition that are seductive and erotic. Tim only paints using Sennelier Oil paints because they are the same paints used by Vincent Van Gough. Tim stretches all his canvases himself using 8oz cotton duck canvas sized 67cm x 48cm
