'In The Long Grass'

'Assemblages' are sculptural pieces individually made using porcelain ceramics, found objects, wire, copper and wood. Featuring birds, hares, foxes, flowers and bees, they are designed to either stand alone or hang on a wall. I am a natural hoarder of things, which I love to upcycle and recycle within my work. It is often a found object which will dictate the nature of a piece, such as an old paintbrush which magically transforms into a hedge or long grass. Other objects including nails, screws, bolts and handmade ceramic stamps and sprigs are used to impress into the clay or become part of a finished piece. Sizes and prices vary and are dependable on each piece.
